By their resourcefulness, Montegonians - as entrepreneurs, hoteliers, cultivators, craft-makers, musicians - the resort’s population and its facilities attract steady growth. Traditional craft and tourist novelties, games, print material and beverage bottles are displayed. Montego Bay was conferred city status in 1981. The city’s driving force remains the population’s ability to re-shape and respond to the opportunities.
